From the moment we stepped inside, Lusanda's warm welcome and attention to detail set the tone for a delightful stay. The vibrant African-Caribbean decor had us feeling right at home, perfectly complemented by the cozy family room my daughter adored, especially with the added charm of an outdoor shower! Location-wise, you can't beat it – close to the beach for our leisurely strolls and just a hop away from charming little cafes and restaurants. Being gluten-free, I was particularly impressed by the thoughtful inclusion of gluten-free options at breakfast, a small yet significant touch that truly made my morning. With an array of local dishes infused with African spices, dining on the terrace was a culinary highlight that I savored together with my travel companions. Whether you’re keen on kitesurfing or simply soaking up the sun by the pool, Sandals offers it all in an atmosphere of comfort and superb hospitality. As a travel writer who revels in Europe’s microbreweries, it was a refreshing change to embrace such vibrant South African culture, and I can’t wait to return!
